State law mandates of wage payment when being fired

Massachusetts law is clear that at the time you are fired from your job the employer must pay you the wages due. Based upon court decisions the vacation pay due is treated as a wage that must be paid.
If the employer fails to do this he is subject to a 25K fine from the AG. The employee can also bring a lawsuit in which the employer will be required to pay treble damages, attorneys fees and court costs.
If you are fired and not provided your wages due contact my office.
