Law Office Billing Rules
1) Hourly time for services are billed in 1/10 of an hour
2) Hourly rate shall be that agreed to in the attorney/client contract. The normal billing rate is set at two hundred and seventy-five dollars ($275).
3) Billable time shall include
a) Review of legal issues
b) Research
c) Document preparation
d) Communication via phone, mail, fax, email and preparation time for such
e) Long term contract clients shall be billed monthly
f) Short term or special services shall be billed as service is rendered.
g) Travel time is included as billable services for the hourly rate unless otherwise agree to by the parties
